On World Bicycle Day, Nexzu Mobility, an urban electric mobility solutions provider, partnered with the ‘Pedal up Mumbai’ initiative organized by the Smart Commute Foundation, University of Mumbai, and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan. The event aimed to promote cycling as a sustainable transportation option in the city.
The ‘Pedal up Mumbai’ ride saw participation from around 600 cyclists, including enthusiasts, environmental advocates, gig workers, and community members. Participants cycled through Mumbai’s scenic routes, culminating at the Sofitel Hotel in Bandra-Kurla Complex.
As part of the initiative, Nexzu Mobility distributed electric cycles to female housekeepers to support women’s empowerment and financial independence. The company is focusing on providing affordable and accessible electric mobility solutions. It’s goal aligns with the broader goal of making cycling a more viable option for diverse segments of the population.

Nexzu Mobility’s makes models like Rompus+, RoadLark, and Bazinga locally with it’s in-house powertrain systems. The company aims to cater to both B2B and B2C markets, providing an alternative to traditional modes of transportation.
Following the ride, the company recognized cyclist for their contributions to the community. A safety and wellness session was also organized to promote safe riding practices, underscoring the importance of educating riders on best practices for their personal and public safety.
